RE: General Defends Use of Anthrax Vaccine

Maybe a stupid question....but considering the mass coverup of servicemen that

were " pushed out " for refusal, who's to say which records will and won't be

reviewed for " consideration " as per Mr Rumsfeld? I'm not even sure what was and

wasn't added to my PIF upon separation. Fortunately I did maintain record of

each and every single piece of paper relating to direct orders to take the

vaccine and my subsequent refusal/punishment....but again, who's to say what

does and doesn't stand up to the " consideration " factor? Considering the fact

that things have been so inconsistent thus far, I think it's hardly fair to have

the very people who were ordering us to take the vaccine and dishing out the

punishment deciding our fate for compensation.

I know it's probably a little early and ahead of the game to get into all of

this.....but having everyones records restored to properly reflect their true

service record and possibly even receiving the opportunity to rejoin the armed

forces at the level we were prior to the whole debacle is very important to me.

I think the Marine from Okinawa said it best - " I didn't leave the military - I

was forced out. "

I'm blessed to have not been stricken with health problems as I never took the

shot and unfortunately I feel that those who did receive the shot and now suffer

will likely never see anything more than a small percentage of compensation for

their anguish - it's impossible to put a price tag on health. For those who

were, it seems a proper disability package with full bene's/retirement pay would

be the only fair resolve since their health cannot be restored. It's not like

you can just resume life as normal once you're chronically ill. Same goes for

servicemembers who are injured in the line of duty - medical retirement with

benefits. Those who were injured due to " experimental " vaccination should

receive complete compensation for their contribution to the armed forces. I

only hope that the judge's ruling stands and the end finally comes to this

nearly 7 yr old " forced innoculation " program that has destroyed so many lives.
