Andy my hands have had very little sensitivity for a very long time

especially on the right my feet also. I tingl;e quite a bit and and have

been to neurologists, pain specialists , chiropractors etc. etc.

Do you know hwre I can find someone in Ohio that understands these issues

and won't look at me like I've grown a 3rd eye LOL!

Bernie forwarded me some sites to find dentists that are mercury free. I

looked at the sites but haven't figured out how to navigate through them and

still need to find one.

Thanks for always answering Andy...where do you find the time???

Donna :-)

Andy,

My son seems hyper-sensitive in the palms of his hands. He'll jerk

his hand away very quickly when a light touch is presented. Related

somehow?

Thanks,

Ed

" glove and stocking parestheisias " are the classic symptom of organic

mercury

poisoning. This is where you can't feel things with your hands and feet -

partial or total loss of sensation - and it is very much in the pattern of

gloves and socks. A key finding is that it is symmetrical, which means it

is neurological rather than peripheral.

Some people who get a bad case of this also can't feel when they are

urinating, though apparently this is indelicate enough that MD's haven't

noticed it. These people do usually retain control of urination, they

just

can't feel the flow.

<< What are lipid soluble antioxidants? Vit E?

E, alpha and beta carotene, lycopene, lutein, xeazanthan.

<<Can you please list them.

My son is allergic to flax seed oil. >>

:-(

Perilla oil also has a lot of omega 3's and might not set off the allergies.

Otherwise it is fish oil but you need to use a LOT - like 10 or more grams a

day - and that gets expensive.

Are you SURE he is ALLERGIC, as opposed to is having some other metabolic

problem with it? Some people tolerate the stuff better if they take aspirin

or something similar with it. Others need to load up on borage or primrose

oil first.

My son had (may be still has) ulcers in duodenum.

He is very sensitive to what he eats so that could

be part of the problem.

May be he just could not digest it. Unfortunately, all digestive

enzymes I have tried are making him unhappy and probably cause

discomfort. I am still looking for some solution to fix his digestive

system including liver (his stool is always light colored even when

he gets ox bile).
