Guest guest
Hi Sylvester, My son has this happen a lot actually. Our pediatric ophthalmologist gave us some prescription eye drops that are very good in reducing irritation or allergy responses. Our son had a YV canthoplasty and frontalis slings at 3 yrs old. He does not blink automatically now (although he can close his eyes when he wants to). Our doctor felt he is more prone to irritation because he does not have the blink reflex to keep irritations out of his eyes. Now that he is four years old he tells me when his eyes feel " itchy " and can ask for his drops.
