I went through some of the old posting and I think it was you asking if anyone else had BPES and is of African origin. If it was you then yes we are africans. I have 2 daughters affected both have had surgery this year they are aged 12 and nine years. You can see photos of them under Mayowa and Tina. Both picked it up from their dad whose whole family (mainly the males) are affected. We are based in London England and used the Moorfields eye hospital.
