I am really worried about this one, because she is no longer a baby and aware of everything around her and becomes scared, etc., What was the healing time for your child? What was it like when they came home? What things were you not prepared for or anything that you could share would be so helpful to me. She is aware that she is " different " certainly she has heard enough questions about her eyes (unfortunately that's just the way it is) She will hold up a doll and say " what happened to the baby's eyes?, she's okay, they don't hurt! " And I have told her that she has small eyes like mommy and the doctor will help her so she can see more.
