Guest guest
WEll, when I joined the Air Force in 1999, I thought that I had made a mistake. Then after a short time I fell in love with the military. I worked my butt off for 3 years to get my degree in nursing so I could commission. I'm one semester short, thanks to TDY's, (but, I'm glad I got to go) and am unable to finish. You see, they sprung this AVIP on my last week which was the week before I was to re-enlist. Now, I declined my re-enlistment and am getting out in 3 and half months. So, then I thought (for a day) that I would just finish my time and go reserve and commission. Well, the AVIP followed that path also. So, where do I go and what do I do? I'm forced to go to my state home and not get to finish my nursing. Nursing schools most of the time will not except transfers without starting at the beginning again. So, I can't help but to feel resentment toward the military that I loved. Any ideas would be great.
