Guest guest
Hi Evergreen! Thanks so much for replying to my post! Each time I hear positive things about Dr. Pashby, I am a bit more relieved and at ease about the whole thing! I am also glad to hear that Dr. Pashby doesn't mind having a list of questions thrown at him! I am certain that this will be the only way I will cover everything. And I must say I am VERY impressed with your organizational skills!! I think I can finally tell my husband that there is someone else out there who is like me!! Although I stupidly had been keeping all of Halle's medical notes on my computer at work and this spring we had a crash and I had not backed up that particular folder...so I lost it all! I now print things off as I write them but that doesn't get back all the info I had typed previously. Oh well...I guess its made me wiser! I'm glad you told me about the possible 'wait'!! Halle will be 2 1/2 and an hour's wait might seem like 6 hours if not prepared!! I will be sure to pack a little activity bag in case we need it! That is so very sweet of you to offer to hook up! I do have some relatives in or close to the city but this trip will be a flying one as my husband (a chef) can't be away from work too long. That's why we decided to get a hotel close to the hospital. I am hoping to get to see an elderly aunt of mine who I haven't seen in awhile but other then that, we will really only have a day to do a bit of shopping to take home little treats to our 8 and 10 yo and to hopefully celebrate our anniversary somehow! But we are hoping that next summer or whenever Halle goes for her first surgery, that we will be able to come up early and do some visiting, sightseeing, etc. I would love to meet you then if you are able! How old is Keaton? Is he the only one in your family with BPES? Well Halle is ready for her nap so I better sign off! Thank you so much for taking the time to chat with me! I hope we can keep in touch and I will let you all know how our appt goes! Cheers, Donna > > > Hi all, > > > I am not a regular poster here but do follow you and have been > >since > > > our daughter, Halle, was diagnosed with BPES in Sept 2004.
