BPES is not the end of world

BPES is not the end of world there's so many other illnesses a child

can have consider it a blessing. I'm no stranger to BPES I have a

cast of family members and children with BPES and I am so grateful

none of my children had cancer, or any other life threatening

illness. I've lived with BPES for 45 years; all my children have it

and its NO BIG DEAL.

Every child is different some learn faster some slower I hated math

could not grasp fractions to save my life but I was in the 5th grade

reading on a 12th grade level.

Were all different and I have enjoyed being different, my children

enjoy being different

Yes we were all called names and picked on and what child isn't.

Please parents stop worrying about the children and be there strong

advocate, I've said it before and I'll say it again your only

strong as your weakest link, if you spend your days and nights

feeling pity and depressed about your Childs eyes he or she will too.

I have Never, Never, Ever made my children's eyes an issue, they had

surgery and that was it. Wear your glasses do your home work; clean

your room, no parties, and no girls, that's my focus.

If this is your first child with BPES and he or she has siblings you

can do a lot of harm by focusing on this child, he or she will feel

different alienated, " why am I different " .

You will soon find children with BPES are driven perfectionist, very

intelligent,

If you just let them be kids and grow without the stigma of BPES you

will see they are no different then any other kids

I have teens and crazy phone bills, and hormones, people wanting

driver's licenses

I need to have a talk about sex, I'm not the bank, its 11 o clock

where are you.

If you think BPES is the end of the world lets swap for the summer

I'll give you 4 teenagers with BPES and I'll take your one, in about

an 10 minutes you will find BPES is not your problem the lack of

food is.

My kids are good kids I have never had any problems with them, there

nerds, 2 excel in school 2 are b-c students. BPES has never been an

issue .

Relax and take a breath and enjoy the early years, you only get one

shot at this .
