Guest guest
Hey Jersey Guy, I'm from Jersey too, northern area. And it just so happens I did take Sf722, Ifound it to be helpful and was doing whole candida clearance program from that site. I only made it about 6-8 wks, and was good for a little while and then it came back. There is a product on that site called Complete Thymic Formula by DR Burgstiner and it has drastically improved me, along with Colostrum also on that site. I have been taking Threelac for several months now and find that combined with the other two tohave given me my life back. Threelac is on www.candida-defense.com. I've been at this for over a year and I've used alot of products, and I think these three are a winning combo. Kim

If i were to plan my days eating what would i cook, what would i buy in a restaurant? What should my shopping list consist of? What do you snack on? And Im in the New York area, if anyone is in the same area could you tell me what doctor you use and if you shop anywhere special I have been told there is a supermarket in Long Island that sells all speciality foods for people with dietary restrictions Thanks h
Guest guest
I buy alot of eggs, Ezekeil bread wholegrain sprouted it's in freezer section in Kings supermarket or health food store sells it. Veggies and hummus. I do eat dairy, some people don't. I buy organic milk and yogurt plain. you can make salad dressing and dips with it by adding spices, dill is a good one. Nut butters, almond butter, and I ate alot of cashew butter, some people say no to this. No peanut butter, and buy natural butters with no sugar added. Lots of nuts for snacks, almonds and walnuts. I eat cheese too. Also brown rice and brown rice cakes 1 time a day is OK. Selter water with flavors but no sugar and green tea. This is my basic diet. Now that I'm better I like vanilla yogurt and sometimes have a piece of fruit. Don't eat raisins and dried fruit due to mold. Melons are full of mold too. Citrus is best bet. Meats, you can make stirfrys and grill things. Get a Foreman grill. Use a cupcake tin and make baby quiches without crust in them use eggs, cheese and veggies. Hope this helps! Guest guest
Hi, Living in New York, you shouldn't have much trouble find a Holistic Practioner. I gather you live in or near the city, by your comment about Long Island. I live in the Adirondack Mountains and was able to find a doctor. To my surprise!! As for diet cut out all sugar, bread, potatoes, soda, caffeine anything that has sugar or will turn in to sugar once eaten. You should avoid alchol and fruits right now. So, basically just starting out you go with veggies and meat or fish, poultry and read your labels! Even if it says it's Sugar Free, don't believe it, read the ingredients, look for corn syrup, molasses, sugarlous or any other OUS. Also no vinegar! If you can't make it yourself. You probably shouldn't eat it. I wish I could practice what I preach, I am having a horrible time right now with this diet. Yet, my symptoms have doubled in some cases trippled. Don't understand how it could be die off when I'm still feeding it??? More from me later. : ) Anyway, there are several good books and cookbooks. Try amazon.com or the Health section at your local library. Right now I can't afford the book, but I can afford to copy a few pages of them. My MD doesn't accept insurance and she charges $150.00 a week. Plus the supplements, I'm on 9 of them, can make you bankrupt in a short time. One more thing, you should keep your stress level at a minimial to none. For me that's like saying, " Go ahead and jump off the Empire State Building, you''ll land on your feet and be just fine!!! " Anyway, Good Luck! It's a LONG and HARD road with many detours. I've seen about 3 already. Tammy

Guest guest
I can still eat dairy. What I found was: My regural MD told me to cut out sugar and white flour. (For weight loss) So, I switch to wheat bread and it was okay for about 10 days then everything went to h*ll!! I'm much worse now than when I ate white bread. So once in a while I do have a bun or white bread. I'm allergic to most nuts. Have ben for years. I'm also allergic to citrus fruits. Which makes it hard to make the salad dressings and such (with the lemon and lime). I'm slowly finding what works and doesn't for me. Just seems there should be a quicker, less expensive and painful way to get rid of canditita? Tammy
Guest guest
I couldn't agree more about the POSITIVE attitude. I was doing great! No soda, sweets in 3 weeks. I lost 12 pounds, then My dad (53) died suddenly on October 21. So, food is a comfort and all the platters of suagry treats and such, kinda through me way of track. It's been 2 weeks now, but I guess that's not enough time to get back to thinking positively about much of anything. My husband and I own our own business Pizza & Sub Shop! My stress level from the business is enough to give someone a stroke. Then our daughter is an aspiring actress at 11 years old and has an upcoming audition with Disney, that's 300+ miles from home. So, I'm just a clutter mess right now. Tammy

Guest guest
There's no need for whining. If you switch to a low carb diet (basically Atkins) you can eat like a king... or queen. I eat better now on Atkins than I ever did before! Get the book if you need ideas on what to eat. > Dabs, > > I'm with ya!!! This diet sucks! The supplements are expensive. But, what are > to do? Guest guest
Yes... exactly Tammy... keep on trying... for as long as we do that we can not fail. This last flare up was bad enough to convince me that a healthy, wholesome diet is the firm foundation for relief from this disorder. I am only in denial if I think I can eat junk/high carb low nutrition foods while attempting to regain and maintain my health. It is no longer worth the momentary taste pleasure I get from it because I pay dearly long after. Now I look for highly nutritious food choices... veggies, meats, fish, poultry, nuts, a bit of some dairy (I do Atkins Candidiasis diet)... I just added in a small amount of organic oatmeal this week. More and more I am making things from scratch and keeping it simple. and I drink filtered water... water... water...!
