I have recently been introduced to a family who have a little girl with BPES who is the same age as my daughter, Kirsten (with BPES) and she lives a few blocks from me. We got together today for coffee and a long chat. The girls got on famously. She sees local surgeons in Leeds and is happy with the management she is receiving. She is very interested in seeing Kirsten after her canthoplasty next month and I am happy to share the experience which I hope will be encouraging. What a small world we live in!
