Guest guest
Hi How annoying is that! It must be awful for you to have come to terms with the surgery and then have to wait another couple of months. Have you said anything to Kirsten about her operation? Children just seem to take things in their stride don't they. It's us that do all the worrying. We must try to meet up again sometime. Grace's appointments seem to thin out after Easter so it would be great to catch up and see Suzanne too. This week we've been to see the dietian and physio. Next week it's a hearing test (I don't know why because her hearing seems fine) and the childrens clinic. Keep smiling Nicola. <parsonsfamily108@...> wrote: Hi allKirsten (3) was scheduled to have her canthoplasty at the end of April at Moorfields. Guest guest
Hi oh no. that's frustrating. We had a similar experience this week. Bipin's first surgery (temp sling to correct his ptosis, I still don't really know what you call it) was scheduled for Monday at Moorfields, but it was cancelled because he had a cough. We spent half the day there before the anaesthetist said definitely no. It wasn't such a bad thing though. Obviously it's better not to do it if there is any increased risk to him, and it gave us a chance to get to know the place and the people and the procedures. And Bipin loved all the toys in the children's ward, and all the attention from the nurses! We're very lucky because we live 15 minutes walk away from the hospital so it wasn't a major inconvenience. So we're still waiting for a replacement appointment - I suppose we know now that it won't be at the end of April... best wishes to you all Tessa S> Hi all S> Kirsten (3) was scheduled to have her canthoplasty at the end of April S> at Moorfields. Guest guest
Hi Oh no! I know how you must feel. Holly is due her first eye lift surgery at Moofields on the 22nd May and I am starting to prepare myself (mentally) for it already! If it suddenly got moved I think it would be hard because you organise everything around that date. I hope it didn't cause you all too many problems. Will let you know how Holly gets on and would like to hear how Kirsten gets on in June also. Take care Lucy xx <parsonsfamily108@...> wrote: Hi allKirsten (3) was scheduled to have her canthoplasty at the end of April at Moorfields.
