Hi Bryony,

I have recently found out I have POF after reading about it on this

site and coming off the pill to take the blood tests. Since coming

off the pill I have had no periods and would not have any again but

have been advised to take hormone replacement either HRT or a

contraceptive pill as this contains the same hormone needed for bone

density. When on this hormone replacement, periods will start

again, which is a pain when there's no need for them any more. Hope

this helps with your question, sarah aged 29yrs
