Guest guest
To Francis and anyone else who wants/needs it: I'll be happy to help you learn to work more effectively with reporters. It's what I do for a living, and it's part of why I've worked to form the Anthrax Family Network. I don't know how or where your interview was conducted, but here are questions I have about it: 1. Did you hand the reporter any substantiating background information to use? And to keep? 2. Was the interview conducted on the phone, or in your office or at a media outlet? 3. Was the reporter young, or an experienced reporter? 4. Did you follow up? 5. Did you make your most important points first? In other words, did you mention what was most important to you to get across in the first five minutes of a print interview, or the first 1 minute of a television interview? Let me know the answers, and I'll help you structure things (for free, don't worry) so the next interview will be more balanced - Kathy D. Hubbell, APR AdScripts, Inc. P.O.
