Question on Antibiotic Drops

Hi - I have a question for all of the experienced

parents out there. Micah (our 4 yr old with bleph)

had a fever last night and woke up with yucky green

puss coming out his nose and eyes. We assumed it was

a sinus infection and took him to the doctor this

morning.

The doctor said he thinks it is a viral cold but

because his eyes look so " gummy " he wanted to give him

antibiotic eye drops every 2 hrs for 2 days and then

every 4 hrs for a certain number of days after that.

BUT - this is not our eye doctor, who is not in the

office today. Anyone have experience with this? I am

going to try to call our eye doctor but I am so

nervous about putting things in his eyes.
