Yes, I do agree. I subscribed to this list to discuss vaccinations. I was

interested in listening to SOME of the natural childbirth stories, but it is

quite a bit. I was just about to unsubscribe until I read this post. Thank

Of course, I already did ask what you were all doing with your

children instead of vaccines (the answer was " nothing " , which sounded

a little not enough to me !!).

I plan to see two homeopaths , one I already know, and another one a

friend told me wonders about, and ask them about homeopathic

vaccinations. But it would help me to know a little more about that

before.

For example :

- Is there an homeopathic vaccine for each disease ?(DTP, measles

....)

- What are their names ?

- When should we give them to the child ?

- Are there cases where it's better to take the " normal " vaccine

anyway (for example, tetatnus, because this disease is very

frightening for me) ?

I was told by a friend that, in order to have a good homeopathic

vaccine, it was mandatory to get very pure components, and that her

doctor was using compoments from other countries, do you know

something about that ?

I and other homeopaths who I study with and respect are not in agreement

with homeopathic vaccines in general (sometimes if htere is an epidemic of

pertussis right near you, a homeopath will use pertussin homeopathically -

but that is for immediate time - not just for general coverage). I will

resend some info I have sent to the list before.

I personally think NO vaccines are necessary. I find them all to be

damaging to the immune system and the vital force (homeopathic term). That

is why we'll start to look at each disease so you can become comfortable

with your choices.

Regarding tetanus - I encourage you to read my webpages on tetanus. Not so

scary when you know the facts. A lot of hype around this diseases - please

read carefully.

Homeopathic vaccines are very much a point of contention among the homeopaths

themselves. Many say there is no such thing as a homeopathic vaccine.

Others say if you take it EVERY day protection may be conferred. Others say,

nosodes should only be used if you know you will be in contact with a

disease.

There is no substitute for healthy eating which builds a strong immune

system. Did you know that some childhood diseases can actually be a good

thing? Yep. Builds a stronger immune system.

Much of this information is at Sheri's and 's websites. It's a lot to

read, but you'll be glad you took the time to do so.

Absolutely. sugar is said to crash the immune system for 24 hours. if we keep

our children off sugar and junk they will do very well!! and give as much raw

food as possible! and no pasturized milk. only raw milk and aged cheeses.

this is In my humble opinion, i should preface!!! having said that i do think

its difficult and we dont want to be the food police and start eating

disorders and food issues iether. its a fine line.

related issues (birth, cancer, candida, vit c etc etc whatever people want)

and make the vaccination one pure vaccination. then we could join both if we

want or just the vaccinations one and just discuss vaccinations and concern

in that regard!

see what there might be for preexisting groups and to see if there was a need

for a new all-encompassing health group.

I didn't see this " alternative " group under Holistic Health. Is it under

another category? At any rate, I did go to the address you gave and joined

up. I did find a group under Holistic Health that also looked interesting.

It was #27. Well People - I think. I joined it too just for fun. Also I

saw there is a group called Natural Ideas with 200 members. It might be

worth checking out as well.

an editor's choice on . It is called Alternative Answers and is very

good. I have had to go no-mail as it is high volume, but every therapy

imaginable is discussed on there. There is an excellent sub-group on

Crystals and Stones.

There are other lists too

People - on the list - please tell others about the other lists. I don't

need to re-invent the wheel.

I don't care if we occasionally discuss urgent things but there have been

hundreds of emails each day lately.

The predominant number need to be about vaccinations or subjects related to

them - homeopathy, vitamins, health questions for children etc.
