I've used stevia for ages - since I've been dieting to lose my weight on the

Bernstein diet - worked great -he advocates (if I can remember right) tab

sweetnlow or some such - stevia tastes like licorice as an aftertaste -again

only if you use too much.

well.... if it's illegal to do or sell in your country

it doesn't necessarily make it illegal for you to buy

it... i found it goes both ways, although i'm pretty

sure that's not how the powers that be intended for it

*grin*. i have no doubt they invented such loopholes

for their own benefit, but once in a while, we can

make use of it too. to give an example, in england,

the selling of stevia is illegal. but the buying

isn't. so, while i live in england, i happily buy

stevia from canada, stevia plants from germany, etc,

and nobody can do a thing about it.

just my thoughts,

Hi

Stevia is EXTREMELY sweet.. What you got does not sound like Stevia to me. So

far I have purchased it in liquid form. I have had excellent results with the Nu

Natural brand " Clear Stevia " . It is my experience that this particular brand of

stevia seems to fare best in cold to cold dishes or beverages.. I have noticed

some very mild bitter taste in warm to hot dishes... As for the color others

will chime in... What I used is clear and , again VERY sweet.

Hi, I recently bought some Stevia from a well known Uk website and

when it came it was green. Is it supposed to be this colour as i

thought it wouold be like a white powder?

It doesnt taste sweet but does taste like grass ie plantlike.

Im confused lol as i wanted to use it to use in my diet inc KT

sweetning (once bottled).

I dont want my KT to taste of grass cuttings haha.

Advice welcome ;o)

Hi, thanks for the info. I am positive it is not sweet at all. i tried it when

making tea and wouldnt even dissolve and made my tea taste like garden grass. I

have tried it on my tongue and its the same result.

I have emailed the website and am now waiting for a reply.

I have read all the topics that have been posted on here about using Stevia so

thought i would give it a go.

I will let you all know how i get along once iv had a reply from the company.

Thanks again.
