Guest guest
Morning-MistI saw something along these lines on ABC News the other day. They were talking about the vaccine shortage (probably just a way to charge more $$, supply and demand). But then they say its OK to wait and for parents not to worry. OK, if that is the case (duh) then why do we need the darn things anyway!!!!! If I really thought vaccines were the medical wonder the doctors say they are, then I sure would be upset as a parent that my kid couldn't get what they supposedly needed to be healthy! So we are just supposed to believe what *they* say and feel OK about it, as usual.

We lived in Dana Point when my children were born and even though Dr. Sears was not their pediatrician, Dr. Hendrickson and later Dr. Greenwood were in his office and frankly choose Dr. Sears because of his alternative belieds. Looking back I was occupied with providing a warm, safe, loving home for my angels and trusted my pediatrician, never thinking for a moment that they would play Russian Roulette with my children's health. My synical side says that he believes in vaccinations because they are a major profit center for his practice. If you consider what the dr is charging for each vaccination and the number now recommended. Ironically, I still had my paperwork from his office for my sons 3 month check up. I was charged $48 for a " Limited O.V. " and $75 for 3 vaccinations (DPT, Polio and HIB). This was 1992 so it is probably more now. I just want to see reasonable accountability return on behalf of our children and I don't know if that is possible when there is so much monetarily at stake. Guest guest
Kim, I showed my Veterans Administration doctor 65 pages of documentation and even my old medical records showing my symptoms matching those on the adverse reactions. She said she read the material and does not believe any of it. She also told me not to show the material to anyone but her. Is she afraid of the truth? Oh well life is too short to worry over one doctor's beliefs. Have a Happy New Year. Re: Dr. Sears's site Mabye he gets more clients and more press that way. he is everywhere in all hte mainstream mags, and im sure he wouldnt be if he was against vaxxes. someone should send him some info, he could be a good antivax advocate. he has power here. kim > Kim, > > Probably they did not teach adverse vaccine reactions in Medical School or > perhaps a drug company paid the good doctor to forget that part of his > training. > > >
