Guest guest
If they aren't on my list they aren't classical more than likely as we have almost everyone there is. The list I have has the key to abbreviations on the list >I've found a whole list of them here in San , TX, but I need >to know what the abbreviations are beside the names of a few. Does >anyone know where I can find abbreviation meanings? I did find a >short list thru Sherri N's website, but it didn't include a few >abbreviations that I've seen. > >The ones I'm unfamiliar with are: >MSN >CNS MSN is probably Masters of Science in Nursing I don't know CNS Neither of these are helpful for homeopathy. YOu want some that have initials as indicated on my list http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/initials.htm >Also, Sherri, I know I've bothered you about this before, but could >you point me in the direction of classical homeopaths in my area? I >have searched your site and I've got a few names, but I'm finding >TONS of other names at the NAt'l Center for Homeopathy. I'd like to >see other options. (Maybe you've got a few names that the NCH also >has. I'm trying to narrow my search.) Some names at NCH are just members and some are practitioners but anyone can say they do homeopathy. The way to narrow your search is to only use the list I have as those are the only classical ones as we are very careful to only put classical there. People can take a weekend workshop and say they are a homeopath and be on NCH list. Its not a good list to go by. Good to know. I'll go with the names on your list, then. > People can take a weekend workshop and say they are a homeopath and > be on NCH list. Well, that's kind of disturbing! I don't think I like that. > Its not a good list to go by. I guess not. Thanks. You know what's sad? The thing that got em to look into this was yet ANOTHER migraine. However, I think I may have finally convinced dh that I MUST see a homeopath to fix this. He asked me if I knew anyone who had been helped by homeopathy for their migraines. Thankfully, I remembered you had mentioned that it worked for your migraines, so I was able to tell him yes. Unfortunately, our onsurance doesn't cover the Dr. I have in mind (on your list as well as the NCH list and recommended by an aquaintance who is a retired homeopath), so we'll need to pay out of pocket for him. BUT, if I get rid of my migraines this way and can otherwise balance my body somehow, it's worth it. I'm also pushing for chiro care. I had some during my pregnancy and I know I was better. Now, though, I haven't been back since the baby was born (almost 6 wks ago) and I can feel it. A homeopath would also know how I can detox, right? I mean in the manner of the vaccinations, since I was vaccinated. My last shot was 12 years ago, I was 12 yrs old and had an MMR " booster " shot since the batch I'd originally been given had 'worn off' or some other crap. I'd also like my 19 month old detoxed, if that's possible. The new baby won't need it, she's perfect. ~ in TX Maxwell 19 mos 5 weeks

They don't actually 'detox' in any special way. They treat you homeopathically according to your whole symptom picture and you detox due to that. I'll send you my migraine story again Good luck - its worth paying out of the pocket -------------------------------------------------------- Sheri Nakken, R.N., MA Vaccination Information & Choice Network, Nevada City CA & Wales UK $$ Donations to help in the work - accepted by Paypal account vaccineinfo@...
