Guest guest
Another mom on the list was discussing using a homeopathic remedy on her child for a rash. My 16 month old has had a rash on the left side of his neck and the lower right side of his belly. It has been there since he was 2 weeks old. It is NOT eczema. We have tried every cream and ointment, natural and otherwise, with no avail. I kind of hoped it would go away eventually, but it never has. Is there any advice anyone could give about a homeopathic remedy to try, or an online resource to search. The rash is flat and smooth, usually light pink sometimes looking irritated with a darker pink color. Sometimes when it's irritated he digs at it. It blistered once when I used a combo antifungal/corticosteroid cream from the doctor, but that was very long ago. We haven't put anything on it in about 6 months, except occasionally lavender EO when it's itchy. If anyone could offer any info, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, Shayla

You have to be VERY careful with a rash - to JUST get rid of it might be suppress it and drive the disturbance deeper. You do that and you often end up with lung symptoms- asthma etc. The only way to work with this is with a homeopath - there is no magic homeopathic remedy. The remedy taken has to match the whole picture of your baby http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/homeo.htm The rash is flat and smooth, >usually light pink sometimes looking irritated with a darker pink >color. Thanks, >Shayla I'm sure it is frustrating, but this only shoud be dealt with as part of the whole picture of the baby. Using something to make it go away is not the answer. Read the article I wrote with link above and see a homeopath on the link to the list from there. Trenton had a rash for some time, when I went to see the homeopath, he didn't treat the rash, but rather gave us medication for other odd behaviours (not sure what to call them - not symptoms) for example, him being afraid of getting his head wet - the treatment helped, I can now wash his hair - and the rash went away all on its own. Guest guest
We have used Calendula cream and it has worked wonderfully. You really should see a classical homeopath to see what the underlying problem is. mother to two beautiful children Tristan 2 Lorna, 5 months representative of SEASILVER, liquid Vit. supplement Balances your body chemistry Cleanses your vital organs Purifies your blood & Lymphatic system Nourishes your body at the cellular level Oxygenates your body's cells Protects your tissues and cells against toxins Strengthens your immune system http://smarthealth.seasilverhealth.com
Guest guest
My dd at under 1 had this same sounding condition that my dh diagnosed as ringworm. It was located behind her knee. Took her to HP and by that time it resmbled eczema. After 1 dose of remedy it returned 2 more times and went away faster each time. Seek a HP. Laurie Oh . It is NOT eczema. . The rash is flat and smooth, usually light pink sometimes looking irritated with a darker pink color
