Hi and Stefanie

Whew, it is a relief when it is done, isn't it? He is a handsome

little fella and it would appear from the photos that his ptosis

thankfully wasn't too severe. Kirsten's eye's were little slits

before her frontalis sling surgery and it made a huge difference.

All the best for a speedy recovery Jonah.

Regards

Parsons

reaction to the anasthesia nor does the pain seem to be affecting

him too greatly. The surgeon said she tried to get his lids to come

up even more, but she couldn't get the fascia to hold. At this

point we just wanted to make sure his eyes are developing properly.

We can take care of the cosmetics later. For those who have

questions about the surgery, feel free to ask...

Hi there,

I am just waiting for the pics to download, what a cutie Jonah is:) How old is he? What was the reason for his surgery at this age? Our son Ethan (pix @ site, wearing pumpkin suit) has just turned 3 last week, he has had no surgery yet, and so far the opthalmologist has said his eyesight is fine and he is developing like any other child his age. He has never had the chin up posture, just slightly raises his eyebrows to see better, he runs around like you wouldn't believe! Sometimes we watch him tearing around and think, slow down, or your going to bump into something! but he doesn't:) Ethan eyes look exactly the same as your Jonah's, as you will see if you look at his photos, it's just funny that some surgeons decide to perform surgeries at a younger age?

I am from New Zealand, but was lucky enough to live in Washington for 5 months when I was 21, (before kiddies) My mums husband was in the US NAVY and we were stationed @ Whidbey Island after we lived in Hawaii for 3 + years:) I moved back to Hawaii after Washington though, and lived there for another few years with my now husband, (just celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary Jan 27th!) Lovely place, a lot like NZ (washington that is) take care.

Leanne and family:)

He is doing quite well post-op. He did not have any averse reaction to the anasthesia nor does the pain seem to be affecting him too greatly. Stefanie,

What a sweet little guy you have! The pictures made

me cry (not because of the pictures but because I

didn't get to be with our son, Micah, when he had his

surgery before we adopted him). Please keep us posted

on how Jonah is doing. Did he have canthoplasty done

too? Was this outpatient surgery or how long was he

in the hospital? Thank you for sharing your story

with us!

Hugs to all of you,
