Guest guest
Using a homeopath is a great idea. I hear of alot of parents who are using homeopaths as their primary physicians. For info on homeopathy: http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/homeo\ ..htm For a list of classical homeopaths: http://www.nccn.net/~wwithin/S\ TEVELIST.htm Also a list of homeopaths, but not necessarily classical (meaning that's ALL they do): http://www.wholehealthnow.\ com/homeopathy_info/ And you've probably already seen this, but I hate to miss an opportunity to advertise that natural docs CAN be found. First of all, lemme state my mantra, " Remember, naturopaths are pediatricians too! " Okay, now that that is done, you can contact Mothering Magazine. They have a database of doctors who have been recommended by their readers as being either alternative or open-minded. You can also ask at your local health food stores for recommendations. (That's how I found an alternative Internal Medicine MD)Also, you can ask for recommendations from direct entry midwives. Don't know that I would set much stock in any recommendations from a CNM because they tend to be more medically oriented. Just gotta know your CNM's beliefs and practices. And now on to the websites where you can search for docs: http://www.acam.org/ http://www.naturopathic.org/ http://www.alternativemedicine.com/</\ A> http://www.alternative-me\ dicine-and-health.com/ http://www.healthy.net/ http://www.healthmall.com/ In a message dated 12/31/2001 9:30:08 AM Central Standard Time, vaccineinfo@... writes: > Otherwise, I don't know what to tell you. She told me that she was in agreement with the main dr. that Will should receive the DTaP and the polio. That they can't have him sitting in the waiting room with pertussis in his nose. So, I asked if the others are vaxxed and he isn't, wouldn't he be the one at risk. Guest guest
I lived in Cleveland for 2 years (tennessee, not ohio). I went to the Bradley County Health Department with my letter that stated the following: TWIMC (all spelled out obviously) Due to our deeply held religous belief, I claim exemption from immunization from CDH and RJH. Sincerely, D. No one asked a question, there were no forms to fill out. They simply put it in a file in their office. I took the boys there for a dental appointment months later, and they did have a file for the kids with those exemptions in their files. I gave one to the pediatrician as well. No questions asked. I think with a religious exemption, they would be hard pressed to ask you to leave the practice on the basis of religious discrimination. Now, I knwo some may try, but if you look at your original paperwork that you filled out there's probably the whole " we will not discriminate based on etc.... " Best Wishes,
Guest guest
Ok, I called Nashville to speak with the homeopath that was listed there. She tells me of a mother in a neighboring town that she treats. I gave her my number to give to the other mother and she just called me. She is a mother of six, expecting #7, uses homeopathy, home births, extended nurser, and has a ped that supports her decision not to vaccinate. So now I see that I AM making some progress and the dr she uses is even closer geographically than ours. I will continue with the NAET and see if it works. I will know in good enough time if I need to get a new ped as well, and now I know there is one that WILL work with me. Much relief there. If the NAET does not eliminate the allergies, we can go to the homeopath and try that route. One dollar at a time, can't try them all at once. I am following the links as well to the other sites. As I digest all of the info I can make my decisions. Again, many thanks to all of you.
