Bergen Brunswig unit completes acquisition

ORANGE, Calif. Jan. 2 (Reuters) - Bergen Brunswig Corp said

Friday that its speciality distribution unit, Alternate Site

Distributors, has completed its acquisition of Besse Medical

Services Inc, a privately-held suppliers of medical vaccines.

Besse also specializes in the distribution of injectables,

diagnostics and medical supplies. Its fiscal 1997 revenues

totaled roughly $50 million with over 70 percent generated

through vaccine sales.
