Guest guest
Reading this article about the model law thing has me freaked out. We are so caught up in daily life and plans for buying a new vehicle, new house, I'd like another baby one day, my husband worries about paying for the kids to go to college, etc....we never really think about " what if " ? I've read a few things here about plans people tentatively have to leave the country should forced vaccinations or whatever become a reality, but I'd like to know specifics, if anyone cares to share them, or can point me to a site that discusses things like this. How do you plan? *What* do you plan? Have you got money set aside specifically for such things, or assets that could be liquidated quickly? Do you have a place to stay? Have you gotten passports? Etc etc. I'm just curious, because I never really thought it was a major possibility, but I just don't know these days. Can everyone really be forced to have a vaccination for smallpox or anthrax or something? What about medical or religious exemptions in those cases? If I had to choose between being quarantined (in my own house?) or receiving vaccines that scare me more than any others, I'd obviously choose quarantine. But my very active imagination has got me wondering if it would all eventually lead to situations like those in " Outbreak " when they were going to destroy a town because of ebola (or whatever). I probably need to go to sleep and dream about pleasant things rather than sit here and dwell on my fears. I just have to remember my very personal Bible verse~~ " For God has not given us a spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. " (2 1:7) Amen!
