HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

This list was one of the best things that happened to me in 1998/99. Without

the help and support of Gretchen and many others I don't think I could have

gotten through this year. I have met a lot of wonderful, caring people

through this list and have even had the pleasure of meeting some of them in

person.

Thank you to all.

Continued contact with sympathetic congressional members is important. In a

letter received yesterday, Congressman Jim Ryun of Kansas (we are NOT Kansas

residents) states: " Although I have not yet decided to co-sponsor the

Anthrax legislation currently in Congress, I agree that the AVIP needs

further review concerning its safety and efficacy. I will continue to work

with the rest of the Personnel subcommittee to monitor and question the

Anthrax vaccination program. It is important that I hear from you. Please

feel free to contact me again with comments or concerns on matters that are

important to you. "

Please, list members, let him hear from you - his address:

Hi Gretchen,

You have certainly accomplished much in a year. Goliath may not be

dead, but you have certainly kicked him in the knee (re: Star Trek VI,

The Undiscovered Country). Thanks for what you have done, risks

taken, sacrifices made.

Also had to acknowledge the message on holding leaders

accountable: " I tell them, " fear the Lord, not the disease. " "

Great stuff.

Dear List;

Gretchen and her courageous list are living up to what the founding fathers

of this nation designed -- a government by the people and for the people.

The citizens of our country and her servicemembers are indebted to the

selfless efforts of patriots like Gretchen and the many others who seek the

truth.

As our information age evolves our nation's leaders need to harness the

example set by the Gretchens of America and lead by her example rather than

disparagement.

The servicemembers of our nation have a duty to protect citizens like

Gretchen, our Congress and our Commander and Chief. Each have a similar duty

to servicemembers.

Keep the faith,

Major L. " Buzz " Rempfer
