Guest guest
Re: Unopposed Estrogen Sandy, Now THIS is one of my specialties--Natural Progesterone. I have been educating women for 6 years on this subject and you will also find this subject on my web-site: www.healthylivingintl.com . I totally agree with Duffy and Dr. R. Lee; in his latest book, " What Your Doctor May Not Tell Your About Premenopause " , he also resources Neways- " Endau " Natural Progesterone Cream (Endau is misspelled in book as " Edan " ) and he also notes this company specializes in " Safe " cosmetics. I have personally met Dr. Lee on several occasions and admire and respect him. I was able to convert my own " traditional " OB-GYN to using Natural Progesterone cream and he is getting fantastic results and he too admires and respects Dr. Lee. Who says a patient " can't teach a Doctor new tricks? " . And this Dr. is now telling other " Traditional " Dr.'s, who are also using Natural Progesterone in their practices. I get to hear from their patients all the time and this has been a " GOD-SEND " to them. Here is one example of how " only one person " can make a difference. I have been amazed at what I have been able to accomplish, as " just one person " , it has had a " domino " effect and I for one am very happy about that. So as we all stand united, together we really can make a difference. There is so much estrogen dominance in our environment; that's why we need natural progesterone so much, to balance out those hormones. There is a link from my website (from an article I have there, " Are Common Chemicals Scrambling Your Hormones " , a good article to read), http://www.epa.gov/enocrine , that has a lot of information regarding hormone disruptions, Xenoestrogens, or estrogen mimics. Women really need to ignore the traditional medical media and educate themselves before letting their doctor turn them into a " cash-cow " for the rest of their lives. Guest guest
Re: Unopposed Estrogen Sandy, Got this from a friend of mine: Progesterone is virtually side effect free and can be applied simply to the skin. Good article, but I just wanted to share my own two cents worth with you: I've read Dr. Lee's excellent book " What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Premenopause " too. Hormones (wheter synthetic or herbs that significantly affect hormones) are NEVER " virtually side effect free. " I've had more than one natural doctor strongly admonish this. In my own experience of finding a new balance with the premenopausal years, I tried natural progesterone cream and experienced a significant worsening of uncomfortable symptoms. It's always excellent to promote natural alternatives to the usual HRT, but anything that affects the body must be worked with on a trial and error basis and an awareness that it what is being tried might not be helpful or what is needed. Guest guest
Re: Unopposed Estrogen Sandy, I hope the estrogen Rocky used was a natural estrogen, Estriol. There is such a thing and works well and is much safer. It does not stimulate cancerous changes in the breast that Estrone and Estradiol does. It fact, it actually prevents them. This is stated in the Journal of the American Medical Association by Alvin H. Follingstad, M.D. But incredibly, most doctors are simply not up to speed on this. They are still prescribing hormone replacement therapy based on riskier forms of estrogen. When My OBGYN wanted to put me on estrogen for a short time (3 Months) along with my natural progesterone, he wanted to prescribe Premarin. I was shocked, after everything I warned him about this drug. I told him that if he felt I needed to be on estrogen, (some women may need some estrogen, but only for a short period of time according to Dr. R. Lee) I would pick my estrogen, which of course was Estriol. He had no idea where to get it or how much to prescribe, so I had to tell him where to send my prescription (Women's International Pharmacy in Wisconsin) after he called, and I told him that I am sure the pharmacist could assist him in the dosage, if he told them what he wanted it for; and so I got my prescription ( it's Natural, but still has to be ordered by prescription). I was on it for exactly 3 months and it worked with NO problems what so ever. My OBGYN is still a " traditional " Dr., however, he's open to alternatives and is teachable. I have to scold him sometimes (respectfully) HaHa but his patients (including me) love him because his listens and is not closed minded. When I inform him of issues, he researches and finds out for himself, then puts that knowledge into action. Patti Unopposed Estrogen THE ESTROGEN SCAM By H Duffy Sr DC The use of unopposed estrogen (UE) was, in my opinion, made the Top Ten Most Destructive Activities of Organized Medicine in the 20th Century, list. For one example, UE is the only known cause of breast cancer and, as it turns out, it does absolutely nothing beneficial for osteoporosis! Most women by far, need Progesterone, not Estrogen, especially those with a low libido. While prescription Esrogen has killed and sickened women, Progesterone is virtually side effect free and can be applied simply to the skin. Males suffering prostate cancer are helped by progesterone cream. Prescription Progestin, the latest female hormone health scam that represents a harmful chemical as Progesterone as something women need adds insult to injury and is exceeded only by the false claims associated with the use of Taloxifen, another in the long list of abuses heaped on our precious women. It is my opinion that the birth control pill (BCP) killed a lot of (unreported) unsuspecting females back in the 60s, a fact that was never well publicized - I always wondered how many victims of stroke back then were misdiagnosed. My own wife, An RN, tried the BCP for a very short period of time, her blood pressure skyrocketed and she suffered headaches right away and thankfully stopped them immediately. At the time I was an Air Force Officer preparing to retire and enter Chiropractic college. As far as the lack of proper reporting on birth-control-pill-related stroke, keep in mind that studies demonstrate that diagnosis is at best, 45% accurate when performed at the best university hospitals. Having experienced the birth of our three children on military installations, with everything that goes along with that, I can say that looking back on what really went on in the medical field back in the sixties (and is actually worse today!) is one of my worst nightmares. It is a nightmare that worsens with each passing year and the accumulation of more and more health related facts. WHAT TO DO 1. Ignore any establishment report or study that pooh poohs alternative medicine procedures concerning female hormones, they are all defective. Don't put any stock in anything you hear on TV or radio commercials concerning female hormones. 2. Order Dr Lee's 1998 collection of newsletters (www.johnleemd.com). This tells it all in simple terms. That first years collection of notes will give females what they need to know to protect themselves. (I have no financial interest in this) 2. Avoid doctors who practice orthodox medicine. Seek out doctors who do alternative medicine. Be careful about them, some are not really alternative. If a doctor recommends or waffles the least bit on the vaccination subject, find another doctor. Vaccination is the quintessential quackery of the 21st century. Don't allow anyone to bamboozle you on that point. 3. Keep in mind that orthodox medicine is now listed in the top killers of Americans. 4. Use only crisis care medicine, it will save your life however orthodox medicine will take your life or make it worse - Dr Mendlesohn (MD) said that long ago. (he taught med students). 5. Never take prescription Estrogen or Progesterone, use the natural forms which are available from alternative medicine doctors, osteopaths, MDs, chiropractors, naturopaths etc. 6.
