Guest guest
Commentary worth noting and passing on.... http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=681502 U.S. MILITARY We need to show respect for soldiers Not classifying anthrax vaccine-related symptoms as combat-related is an insult to everyone who has served in the military since Sept. 11, 2001 ( " Caution flag raised on mandatory anthrax vaccine, " Oct. 29). Many soldiers have been required to receive the vaccine as part of their military duty. Soldiers like DeGuire deserve not only our respect but the best care our wealthy nation can provide. The Disabled Veterans Tax Termination act, pending before a House subcommittee, is a start. Notably absent from the article was a statement from any Wisconsin legislator taking up this cause. For the vast majority of us who have sacrificed so little, it's the very least we can do for those who give so much. Deb Andraca Whitefish Bay Randi J.
