Guest guest
For all those who have helped me to help my son, thank you. as an update, the Army's informal med board has decided that 's heart problems are due to his prior Guillain-Barre Syndrome and there not in the line of duty.(what liars) However I recently attended a MN Chapter meeting of the National GBS Foundation, where a Neurologist who is a leading expert in GBS told me that there is absolutely no way that GBS can be the fault of his current heart condition. GBS affects the peripheral nervous system and during the initial chronic onset of the disease can cause heart problems, the heart is part of the autonomic nervouse system and is never affected long term by GBS. Now we still dont know if the vaccines he received, including Anthrax, are the cause, at least we know that the Army is wrong and it is not pre-existing and therefore has to be In Line of Duty. The fight continues but now we have ammuntion bigger than theirs, lol. Maybe we'll actually get someone to determine what caused his problems but for now it seems like at least one major hurdle has been jumped. I'll keep all posted.
