Guest guest
most people that are new to the group will not remember me, but my name is mario and i'm 31 years old. i was in the us army from 1994- 2001 and recieved the anthrax vaccination while stationed at hunter airfeild. i'm writing this while crying, i was never the type to even consider suicide, but years of trying to stay afloat and developing dramatic mood swings from prozac and just trying to blend in with regular society, i've become to tired. I'm a black male that came from a broken home and i always tried to do the right thing in life. The atlanta VA has come along way in helping soldiers with appointments and thats basically it, but no compensation, " it's nothing wrong with you " , last words at the end of the day. I'm going to keep pushing on and praying awhile longer, but i'm really tired now and ready to rest. i would like to thank the group for informing others about this true injustice of human dignity, because thats just what it is! Guest guest
, Hang in there the time is coming, I know you are tired as I watch my husband fight his ailments everyday. We are a family of 4 and he was in the reserves he was given 60% disability from the military and 70% from the VA just resantly. We are fighting this as he doesnt' have a ammune system left and can't be around allot of people so how can he return to his RR job. We are trying to make it on 1000.00 a month now, which is a far cry from what our middle class lives were used to. You are not allone in this and the force is in numbers. The military is wanting those who are sick to step out, DON'T LET THEM BEAT YOU! There are lots of prays and people out there to help you. I have been trying to get reporters to come together on this and report from all states not just the state they are in. When the masses come to gether the strength will change what we are all suffering with. It isn't right that you should suffer along with not being able to pay bills and get medical help just for standing up and protecting the other people in the USA. Put your trust in God he has a plan for all of us in this, don't let the evil win. There moto is devid and concure so we all must stand together and be strong to concure this. If you need someone to talk with let me know we can talk things will get better we all must spread the word of our fates. Like I said before I went to the news with our story we have nothing to loose so what could I be afraid of? The only things we have left is our lives and they will have to take it to shut me up. But when this happens the news will fly like wild fires as to what is going on. Don't give in take them down instead. frog Numero Uno <supermann30316@...> wrote: most people that are new to the group will not remember me, but my name is mario and i'm 31 years old. i was in the us army from 1994- 2001 and recieved the anthrax vaccination while stationed at hunter airfeild. i'm writing this while crying, i was never the type to even consider suicide, but years of trying to stay afloat and developing dramatic mood swings from prozac and just trying to blend in with regular society, i've become to tired. Guest guest
Frog is right - do not give up. If you do, they win. Have any of the veteran's service organizations (DAV) looked at your case? Were you ever deployed to the Middle East - do you have any of the Gulf War Illness symptoms that fit under the presumptive service connection rules? Can you get to the DAV at the VA Regional Office in Decatur? They should provide transportation if you need it. Tell them how bad things are and that you need help. Make sure you have your DD214. Disabled American Veterans VA Regional Office 1700 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30033-4032 404-929-5956 404-929-5332 There will never be adequate compensation for most of us to live on under the current rules. Congress needs to change the rules THIS YEAR. We have spend most of the last two years urging our congressional delegation to do something. We finally had a story published in our local paper and one of our Senators is taking an interest. The Defense and VA appropriations bills have not come out of conference yet. If enough people call their Congressmen and Senators and demand action this year, we may get help. If the son or daughter of a Member of Congress had been affected, you can bet there would have been action by now. We are praying for youSCD Disabled American Veterans VA Regional Office 1700 Clairmont Road Decatur, GA 30033-4032 From: fr0g_in_the_m0uth@... Guest guest
You are not alone, . It is often said that God does not give us more than we can handle. I respectfully disagree. God does give us more than we can handle to see if we have enough faith to give it back to Him. At one point, during my Medical Evaluation Board process, I just broke down and admitted to God that this was way too much for me to bear and asked that He carry my burdens. From that day forward, I've felt a calm peacefulness in my life. God is doing the heavy lifting. I have attached a letter to my hometown church attesting to the strength of their Faith and mine. I hope you find it helpful. As a practical matter, discuss your feelings with a mental health provider. Since your depression stems from a health condition, you may want to see a health psychologist (I have). Plus, there are many antidepressants available - discuss the adverse side effects of the one you're currently taking with your doctor and try another... Take care, Kelli Donley __________________________________________________

Guest guest
2 Q's Has anyone heard any more from ? Does anyone have a way other than this list to contact him? I have tried directly emailing him, but no response. I feel we owe him as much support as we can get him and I am worried about his present state of mind. ( if you are reading this you are not crazy, but I feel you could be a danger to yourself, and would like to help if you will let us) Chappy On 11/2/2007 11:36:35 AM, wrote: > You are not alone, .
