Thank you. I have to get on that myself, now that my life is a bit less

hectic. (I'd have thought that being " retired " would magically provide me a

leisurely, unhurried life. Little did I know.)

I have some particular observations on your situation:

First, while the Feres doctrine may prohibit you from suing the DOD for the

sleep lab technician's crime, you might be able to sue the contractor. I

strongly suggest you follow up on that before the statute of limitations

expires. I am copying my attorney on this e-mail both so you can contact

him if you wish, and so he can correct me if necessary. (I would in turn

send you a " mea culpa " e-mail.)

Second, I'd write off Saxby Chambliss as worthless. Wasn't he the one who

trashed Max Cleland as being " unpatriotic " or some such? You'd honestly

have better luck writing to Cleland. Cleland likely has an impressive

amount of credibility in spite of all that, and especially with the current

Congress.
