Guest guest
Hello all, First thanks for this opportunity to share. The first time in my life I have been able to `talk` to others that have bleph! Secondly, an encouragement for anxious parents of bleph children. Affirm their uniqueness, tell them they`re beautiful, be open with them about their looks, & ALWAYS be open with other people who have problems with accepting differences & maybe won`t verbally ask the questions they so obviously have! Fascinated to discover all this info & other people affected with bleph. etc Yes, it really is 3.04am on the last day of 2003!! I was the first in my family to arrive with this `oddity` as it was probably treated 46 years ago. I did have surgery as a babe & again as a teen but was never openly discussed in my family. (huge childhood traumas as well! & yes, I have recovered & married & now have a daughter,17 years, with the same condition) Was even more amazed to learn via your website that fertility problems can be associated with bleph as we spent several years pursuing pregnancy, with ovulation induction treatments etc, with no results & no explanation from specialists etc - they really didn`t know why it wasn`t working. We had no idea until 3 days ago that the 2 are connected & would love to learn more in the hope of helping our gorgeous girl in her future. She has had some cosmetic surgery done through her own decision as a teen & plans to have more - she has a great surgeon here who is most interested in bleph. I`m happy to correspond personally with anyone, & would love to know of any other `kiwi` blephs! Nightnight & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL!!
