Guest guest
Hi everyone! Happy new year. Just thought I would let everyone know about a procedure I had done about a 2 months ago to help with the bothersome eyelashes that were growing into my eyes and irritating them. My eye surgian numbed my eyelids and froze the inner lower lids to kill the hair follicals. I used to have to sit for hours and pluck them, and to me that is the worst torture ever. I might have to have the procedure one more time but just after the first time it is so much better. well just thought I would let everyone know about this option for this problem because my eye doctor said it is very common with people with BPES. Hey, so NOW you tell me an easier way to fix trichiasis! My son went through two traumatic entropion operations to fix that problem. And my optometrist plucked my lower lashes for me (gee, thanks) at my last visit. Ow! But it is indeed common with BPES. With my son & me it is apparently due to the lower lid being very thin (and the lashes very fine) so the lashes grow in random directions (like INWARDS, for example). Thanks for the tip.
