Unfortunately, you missed the real story behind this acquisition - which in reality is one of a remarkable and successful turnaround. In fact, the state of Michigan auctioned its aged and outdated facility in an open bid process involving 19 companies. BioPort was the successful bidder, and we took over the facility after it had already been closed for renovation to meet FDA requirements. After seven years of dedicated work, it is crystal clear from many independent analyses that the management and employees of BioPort took that outmoded manufacturing facility and transformed it into an efficient, compliant producer of a critical bio-defense vaccine. I'm proud of that fact - and that through these efforts the nation has access to a safe, effective and licensed anthrax vaccine for the protection of our military men and women. Further, I am proud that our company is contributing to the defense of our nation against weapons of mass destruction by providing an anthrax vaccine to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the Strategic National Stockpile. Without our commitment, today our country might not have a critically needed vaccine to protect us against a bio-terror weapon that has already been used against the American public. G.
