Guest guest
Wouldn't going with the second production facility and contract have solved a majority of the problems associated with MBPI, and the current vaccine? If they were to go this route.... 1. A new facility, fully inspected, and fully compliant, would be used, not just an old place fixed up " just enough to pass " . 2. They would not have bought into, and supported the variety of problems associated with MBPI's quality control, nor their conflict of interest problems, nor their insider bidding issues (you know, all the stuff that technically would make the contract between DOD and MBPI/BioPort illegal in the first place). 3. A brand new vaccine would be developed, and fully tested according to current FDA standards of safety and efficacy. It seems to me for what they have already spent, and plan on spending, they could have started over with all new, instead of putting a " band-aid " on the old. It's like having all these cars that are pre-1974, (I like old cars, by the way) many of them are currently not required to have certain types of inspections, because AT THE TIME THEY WERE MADE, they were not required to be inspected. But now, they are considered bad for the environment because of the lack of EPA equipment, and are considered unsafe, because of the lack of ABS, Airbags, etc. YET THEY ARE STILL LEGAL. Since MBPI appears to be going defunct anyway, why not just let it go (poor Adm. Crowe), and contract with the second facility who put in the bid? _________________________________________________________
