29 Palms/boys packing for the brig

The boys are packing everything in case they get brig time.

I received a call from London, England this morning (thanks to

Lori) the BBC

wants to do the story. Said their audience is mostly American.

I gave them

's number. Guess they got hold of him since they didn't

call me back.

I have sent a letter to the Navytimes. Hope they print it.

They called to

verify that I had written it.

My husband and I will be flying to 29 Palms the 22nd for 's

court

martial on the 23 and 24.

According to 1st Sgt. , Lt. Col. Hawkins (, Metzig,

Mcintyre, and

ston's) unit commander said he didn't see the boys needing

brig time.

1st Sgt. said he had never known a jury to give anyone brig time

over this

type of offense. Guess this will be another indication of how

fair this

court is. Lt.Col. Hawkins has been making these boys lives

miserable for

the last five months. He could have separated them out at any

time but

wouldn't. Now he has a change of heart?

We can't go anywhere anymore without running into someone who

has heard on

the radio or TV about .

Still trying to get my congressman to do something. I asked

him if he will

send someone to the court martials. Let you know what he

decides. Rumor

has it there are going to be congress or their representatives

at the court

martials. Hope that is true.
