Guest guest
Hello, I read this email and it seemed suspicious to me. Here are the reasons why.. 1. the person did not sign their name (perhaps you omitted it?) and 2. call me crazy but the name Cyphe is suspcious to me. I remember that it was the name of a character in a movie (not to long ago) that in the end turned out to be the devil. I may be totally off my rocker, but I'd check this person out before I let them on the list... Just my observation and I hope you don't think I'm nuts...just a feeling I have. Carolyn From: Cyphe@... Hello I'm not receiving daily e-mails an chat at lewiscyphe@... I'm using a aol trial version,it wiped out your confirmation e-mail.Would you please resend.I'm interested in helping your group.I formerly worked with DynCorp and I'm disabled due to contaimated Anthrax-Vaccine made and outsource by DynCorp Biologicals/Program Resources,Inc to Michigan Biologic Products Institute.I was a civilian assigned to the Gulf War Thearter of Operations. I test positive positive for MF-59 squalene vaccine adjuvant/Syntex/Microplasma/antibodies to HIV virus as part of a covert DOD crash test program to protert soldiers with one inoculation instead of six as required with aluminum hydroxide during month's preceding Gulf War.I am the original Guinea Pig and received first series of shot's in Oct.90' at stateside. Guest guest
Carolyn, You are not alone on that rocker! I had the very same thoughts about this " helpful " person! I know you can't check everyone out before they join this list and since we know that people are watching, we just have to be more careful! I will have to have alot of proof before I'm willing to believe anything this person posts as fact! Graves

Guest guest
I think that it might be a good idea to try to not be so suspicious about everything and anything. The people or unofficial and official 'bodies' that can REALLY injure you are able to monitor everything you write on any of these lists anyway, whether you like it or not. They do it, they have done it to the gwvm and other veteran's lists for as long as i have been involved with the internet (since 1994) and they will continue to do it. They do it in the background because they have their own reasons for keeping us all under observation without direct accusation. I don't believe that it would be in their best interests to use such an obvious dupe to get access to the anthrax list or any other list. On the of the only things we in the UK are fortunate to have, is to be able to exist in a more or less 'conspiracy-free' atmosphere. It is very easy to be suspicious of all and sundry when all you see around you are what appear to be conspiracies and plots. Perhaps ' Cyphe' would like to identify themselves properly, although whoever this is DID seem to give some background - or is it a case that we are ALL to be suspicious of every person and take everything everybody says with a bucket of salt? For all WE know Cyphe may be a very worthy ally to have in a fight for truth and justice, but if we don't give him/her a chance, how will we ever know? You may very well be suspicious of me and my anonymous sounding email address and the fact that I generally sign myself 'VP' (short for vicepresident). You may ask yourselves, Vice President of what? Well I am the United kingdom Vice President for Veterans for Peace, a member of the UK Allvets as well as a Gulf War veteran and the reason I personally don't use my given name is that I received some very 'dodgy' looking mails some months ago and somehow my email became known and I also started to receive some very nasty pornographic stuff, so I changed it and use anonymous names now. I do it for my own protection, as may well be doing, as many others do. I only explain this, not because I 'doth protest too much', but just to point out that people may use pseudonyms for any number of reasons and not necessarily because they are " moles " or have some hidden nefarious agenda. Surely both of our societies UK and US still believe that people are innocent until proven guilty. I am all for being reasonably cautious, but not to the extent of extreme paranoia which can be most disabling when it comes to searching for the truth. Sometimes one is so busy looking for the ulterior motive, one can't see the wood for the trees!! These are just my thoughts and not necessarily what i believe everyone should think. Best regards VP
Guest guest
I received a similar email from a " Redus, " claiming to be " new to the One-List. " It was suspicious because he had an " afwa.af.mil " address, which is an Air Force/Government address. Typically, with the Air Force, your address will be " Base Assigned.af.mil " Does anyone know where " AFWA " might be from? Guest guest
Thanks VP, for that insight. As stated, suspicion can take over, if allowed. There indeed has and continues to be heavy monitoring of all the Vets' e-lists. One could say there are more moles than in a dermatology clinic:-) I think deserves a chance, as did we all. Hope.........rgs
