Guest guest
Wow was I excited to find this group! I was born with blepharophimosis and am now 30. I had 4 surgeries from about age 9 months to 12 years. The last was cosmetic to make my eyes appear to have the creases. Unfortunately I have always been disappointed with the results. No one else in my family has this condition and the doctors could never give an explanation of why I have it. My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for about 7 years when I came across an article about the FOXL2 gene causing bleph and infertility. Wish I had know it when we first started out. Would've saved us a lot of money, testing, and disappointment. I looked at some of the pics and I must say technology has come a long way since I had my sirgeries. I'm sure it's possible for me to have more as an adult but owuld the results be any different? Well I just had to say I am glad I found this group by accident! I look forwarding to reading and learning more. Regards: Ricki
