Guest guest Posted December 5, 2003 Report Share Posted December 5, 2003 Hi I'm I am 20 yrs old and a junior at the University of Iowa. I have bpes. I had my first surgery while in kindergarten. Since then I have had a few. One was in high school and I ended up missing a lot of school because the recovery took longer than expected. The last one I have had was in May of my freshman year of college. That was 2 years ago so it would have been May of 2002. Dr. was my surgeon he does a really good job and he's a nice guy. It just takes a lot of time and energy to go all the way to Utah from Iowa. The hardest part though is recovery, especially when you want to go out with your friends when you get back but you have two black eyes.
