Guest guest Posted September 8, 2003 Report Share Posted September 8, 2003 Bernice, I'm not even sure if the blocked tear ducts are part of bpes, but when Austin was a baby and into his early 2's, his eyes were always real goopy. It looked like yellow pus coming from the corners of the eyes. We didn't see the surgeon very often when he was younger, maybe once a year and on one of the visits he said " has your eye doctor mentioned to you that his tear ducts are blocked? " Of course nothing ever was mentioned to me about it. A few weeks later he was in the hospital getting tubes in his tear ducts. They were very small and clear. Almost looked like fishing line.
