Guest guest Posted October 13, 2003 Report Share Posted October 13, 2003 OK, Ive read alot of the stories in here saying that there lil ones have had there surgery first thing when young within there first year.... and others to wait till there 4-5 yrsold ... My questions is whats better to wait or not to , because i would figure not to wait becasue the chance of loosing sight in one or both eyes becasue of the ptosis.... maybe depending on how sever... but then i would do it either way.. For my bby they are really concerned becasue her left is smaller and the ptosis is sever and she is beinging not to focuse with that eye!!! And watching my bby always lifting her head to see under htem bothers me i cant imagine having your eyes not fixed until 4-5 yrs the neck problems that can occur later would be dramatic wouldnt it? I see our surgueon this coming Friday and wondering what kind of questions should be asked by us, as parents...... whats best for our daugther and another question isnt best to get both done at the same time becasue of symetrical diffrence to make them coem out even (normal looking).. thank you for your time TAILYNN AURORA (FEB26-2003) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
