Guest guest
Hi All Just wanted to let everyone know that I've returned from a 3 week vacation. It's going to take some time to go through the e-mails, but I'll catch up soon. LOL. I want to thank the moderators for doing a great job and all the members for supporting and being there for each other. I hope everyone that had procedures, trials, and implants had great success and are doing well. I also hope anyone that's going to have any procedues, trials, or implants the best of luck. I want to welcome all the new members that joined the group while I was away. My name is Sue and I'm co-owner of the group. I have 2 spinal cord stimulators and a pain pump. I have RSD as well as several other medical conditions. I'm very fatigued, so I'll talk to everyone very soon. I hope all is well with everyone. If anyone has any questions or needs an information, please feel free to contact me. Sue
Guest guest
Hi Sue, Welcome home. Glad to hear you have had a great break. Hope you didn't overdo things too much. You have been missed!! Hope I've done ok while you've been away. I'm off for a week next week doing an Arthritis course for our little home town. We don't have anything for about 300 km's. I need something to keep my mind busy again. See my Dr next week as well. They are now talking possible RSD with me. A possible off shoot of my rheumatoid arthritis and all the back surgeries I've had ..... seems to be if it's not one thing it's another this last few weeks. Shouldn't complain. Life could be heaps worse. Recover soon. Hope to hear about your holidays. Hope they were what you expected and more. Warm Aussie hugs ..... and it has been extremely warm here this week, temps of 38c - 41c .... give me back winter!! xx > > Hi All > > Just wanted to let everyone know that I've returned from a 3 week vacation. Guest guest
Hi Thanks for the welcome home. Sorry it took me so very long to get back to you and everyone else. Still trying to catch up with everything. On vacation everything was so slow placed, and no schedule. Starting to get the hang of things again. LOL. You did a great job while I was away, and continue to do so. I didn't overdo it while away. I've learned to accept that  there are things I just can't do anymore and I have to pace myself. I would love to run around and do the things that others could do, but I know I can't, it would only set me back. I did what I could, and didn't do what I couldn't. There was one day that I had the most horrific pain and I had to take my break through pain meds and spend the day in bed. I did what I had to do, and the next day, I only needed the pain patches. By the next day, I was feeling much better, still in pain, but tolerable. Have you found out if you have RSD? If you do, there are numerous people in group, including myself who could give you information on this disease. You have such a great attitude! That's what helps us get through this. Attitude is so important. As I always say, think positive.
