Guest guest
I have now seen the neurosurgeon, the psyche Dr and am waiting to hear from the neurosurgeon's office to know if I am a candidate for the trial. The indications from both of these Drs were that I would be. It has been over two weeks and the psyche Dr. has not issued his report which leaves me in limbo. I did call the neuros office and the nurse told me they need his report. I have several questions. Is this the usual policy that you have found? More important to me is the rate of success and also the bad parts. Mine is for neuropathy in the feet and severe back problems. I have had surgery ten years ago for my back and have lots of fusion, plates and screws. Like many of you I have done everything possible to find relief but it has been getting where I am going to be wheelchair bound soon as it is so painful to walk. I would appreciate any comments as anxiety tends to take over at times. Thank you, Lois
Guest guest
Lois Maybe the neurosurgeon can call the psyche Dr and ask for the report. If you call, you might not get anywhere, but if the doctor, or someone from his office calls, you might have a better chance of getting the report a little sooner. The stimulators are very helpful for me. I also have a pain pump. Everyone has a different rate of success with them, that's why they do a trial first. I know how difficult it is not to get stressed over this, but the more you are stressed, the worse the pain will get. Hopefully you will have an answer soon.
