my son is 2 1/2, He is very tiny for his age. He has always been

small. His appetite is small and he is very picky with what he will

eat. I have never considered his size and appetite to be linked to

BPES. His fine motor skills are extemely advanced for his age. Most

every thing developmentally is advanced. He speaks well, however, he

will ommit words like and, or, the in his speech. This is probably an

age factor. I do have a question for all of you. At what age have you

had your first surgery? My son like I said is 2 1/2 and still has not

had his first surgical proceedure. The specialists have said we can

do at any time before he starts school. We are considering going

sooner than later. Maybe this winter, when he is not even three.

Would you suggest sooner or later?
