I translated his blog via Google Translate (unfortunately I'm not very learned in Spanish) and the post with his friend says, " You could say we work as a team, I should point out where to direct the camera .... she shoots ... haha. " , those are some nice photos. You live in Minorca? What's it like there? I would love to travel to Spain one day... preferably Barcelona. The architecture there is beautiful. Guest guest Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 A big hello to Everyone, It's been almost 12 weeks since I had my stimulator implanted to help with the back, hip, leg and sciatic pain. I have to admit, they'd have to shoot me now to get it away from me. It's working better than I expected or even hoped for. Having said that, I still do get my break through pain days, just not as often. It has been hard trying to take things quietly for the last 12 weeks. In that time I have managed to quit smoking!! BUT ... I've also added 6kg. Bugger! - lol I have just done a weeks course in Arthritis self help. I'm trying to get a few things going down near my home town. Mainly because our nearest course of help is either 250 or 300 km's away. Am learning how to do seated Tai Chi - used for people that are not able to either stand for long or have the inability to use their legs because of pain or the arthritis has inflicted them. It really is quite fun to do, and peaceful too. I was wondering whether or not it mayhelp a few people on here with a little excercise. If your interested let me know and I can give you a link to have a look. The verdict is still out on the RSD at the moment Sue. It's a case of we fix one spot, and another pops up at the moment. It's still early days really from the surgery, so maybe once that settles down, things may change also. I hope that everyone is going along as best as they can. All of those who have had recent surgery are healing nicely and you are taking things easy. We are in harvest mode here in Australia. One of the reasons I haven't been on much.
