Guest guest
Hey there, Beej - They only thing I would critique about your meals would be that there really should be a little bit of healthy fat in every meal. Like maybe try 1% or 2% cottage cheese instead of fat free, or if you just like the fat free (which I do) then have an ounce of almonds or something like that. And with the sandwich maybe have the lofat cheese as opposed to fat free cheese. Apparently you need to eat fat in order to lose fat from your body... Go figure! And you might want to swap meals 5 and 6 around so that you're not eating so much right before bed, when you're about to lay down and do nothing for 8 hours.... Just my 2 cents.. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestions. Actually the yogurt that I really like the best is only available in low fat ( buy the vanilla flavored) so that will work out great. Thanks for your help Beej > Hey there, Beej - > > They only thing I would critique about your meals would be that there really > should be a little bit of healthy fat in every meal. Guest guest
So, that is what it is like to spend a weekend home? I got a few projects done that have been hanging around for awhile and I got to watch a whole NASCAR race. I even got to watch my grandson's soccer game on Saturday.....what is that game all about? I have a pretty easy week and then on the road again this weekend and Vegas the weekend after that. I have some wood to get in for the Winter and a chimney to clean before the wood stove can be fired up for the season. That will get done this week. Let's keep those tat artists busy with some work for them. De, I can get you a good price on a tat, but you would have to come here...LOL. And we need to see pics of the rejuvenated one. Where is Patty Pooh and what is she up to? Hi to Her Redness and everyone else. Party on Y'all Dick At 04:25 AM 10/23/2006, you wrote: Good morning, gang! How is everyone? ALLan & Jon, how goes tx? What are the limitations? I just love looking up and reading about all this stuff it keeps my abby normal brain working. The weather here is beautiful and getting cooler. RD is ready with his black sweatshirt with his big Harley logo on the back. RD is a red head too and also loves to dress in black. I need to get him a matching tiny leather jacket and hat. Last three days/nights I may have gotten 4 hrs.sleep total. Temp went up to 103 last night felt like barfing, but I fight the act of doing it. Except when I (in the past) drank to much draft green beer, hahaha. The telltale signs of staph were all in order, Painful leg inside, and red rash on the outside..different leg than usual. High temp, etc... Almost went to the hospital, but I rode it out, cause I thought it may have food poisining (old pizza), bad..I know, and I feel a heck of a lot better now. Guest guest
Can I ask a dumb question?? I keep seeing where several people are talking about getting a tattoo. The thing is my hubby got his Hep C from a tattoo he got 20+ years ago, when we went to the hep doc. he said that tattoo's are still dangerous that you can still get Hep C from them what I am asking is why would anyone that has had or is going through Hep treatments and is clear would want to get a tattoo?? to me this would be like someone that is an alcoholic saying I am recovered, and one drink won't hurt me just curious Bonnie Good morning, gang! Guest guest
Hey Hun. First I'm speaking only for me, But I feel the only dumb question is the one that is never asked. As for the tat, This dragon has controlled my life long enough. Now he will be under my control. I will not get a tat at just any place. I want to be able to watch them, see how they handle every step of every tat that I'm there watching. But most of all I want to see how they handle the ink and the instruments. I would have to know the artist and be very clear on my illness as well as the risks. Some day some how I will beat this dragon, But the dragon will never leave me alone. Besides dragons are gorgeous. Ok so I'm a nut.. love dBonniy <bonniy@...> wrote: Can I ask a dumb question?? I keep seeing where several people are talking about getting a tattoo. Guest guest
Hey Deb, SpYke & I are doing fine. I remember to take my Lactulose at least half the time so I think I'm getting better. It's getting cold up here in the G W N but no snow yet thank the gods I don't know how I'll do shovelling this winter when I can't even get off the couch to go to bed most days. SpYke is up to something, he feels he has to pay me back cause when my brother came to give my computer more memory I got my niece to hold him while I trimmed his nails - you know cats, never forget an indignity. Oh well, I just won't let him wear his Harley collar for a while - he knows how handsome he looks in black leather with silver studs that will be punishment enough for any misdeeds he performs on my person. Still haven't heard anything from the pre tp tests. I'm trying to get in to see the G I but he's a hard man to reach. I want to find out how things are & whether or not he'll let me try tx again (not that it's likely it'll help me being a non responder twice before.) I'd just like to be doing something besides not involving myself in recreational drug use, that doesn't interest me any more. Hey Deb, do you think that means I'm finally a grown-up? Love you all, SuZie Next time I'm coming back as a cat Re: Happy Monday A Happy Monday and Good Week to Everyone. We haven't heard from our tx guy's in group for awhile. Guest guest
I think there is something..I took something before, but I was in a whirlwind then and did whatever I was told, without knowing ANYTHING. It seems like what I was taking was battling some drug and I stopped taking it, via dr. orders I'll ask that quiestion at my next appt. Guest guest
Good Morning to all I hope this messages finds you all at a peaceful level of no pain. Sorry I have been MIA the past week I have been on a roller coaster. The weather has been up and down and I have been down. Saturday was the first day I started to feel some normal level of pain and happiness. My foot has been doing good my hands and arm has been my bigger problem. I just get so frustrated when my hands hurt. But the past few days with nice weather has helped a lot. Still some pain but I am trying to keep myself busy and doing some relaxation to help along. I was suppose to return to work today and doc said NO. He wants my back to be completely healed at the incision site and I still have some areas that are not. I will be re evaled Tuesday and if looking better then I have the green light. This second surgery has kicked my ass (sry) I have felt so much worse this time around than the first. I am not even sure I have the energy to return to work this week even if he does say ok. I do know I will only go half days at first. The morning is worse everything aches my hands just cant function.. UGH I did talk with doc about my hands and our plan for them and he said in June when bottom half is feeling better then we foucus on upper. OK my great news.. I have meet my family deductiable of $5k. So to celebrate I am going to have a colonoscopy and a mamogram just cause it will all be paid for... YIPPEEE break out the sparkling grape juice.. I think that about covers me and where I am... Hugs to all of you
