Guest guest
I had a lateral release in 1995 for lateral pain. It wasn't, as far as a know, CP. I posted info on this about 2-3 days ago if you want to look back through the posts. My OS said he could do a lateral release for my CP but he " didn't know " whether it would help. He's a sports doc for a national basketball team, but maybe they don't get CP much so maybe that's not his area. I'm switching OS's as soon as I can. Ann J-brace? > > > Is a J-brace good for CP? Guest guest
It's great to hear that you are doing well. How long were you in hospital for? I will be having surgery but I dont know when yet. I am also worried because I am still breastfeeding and I dont know what I'm going to do. Are you given much medication afterward? Guest guest
Biljana I had my surgery Fri morning at 10 am . I woke to havening those inflating leg massagers on which i did not like at all. They said i had to wear them to avoid blood clots untill i could walk so i asked her to remove them when i go to my room around 1 and was up and walking by 1:30. Very slow walking but walking none the less . The meds they give you for pain can be very strong i was given demirol shots untill this morning when i was switched over to percaset in pill form. (no trouble swallowen the pills ) . I am on a full fluid diet for a couple of weeks my esopagus was very streched so they want me to give it plenty of healing time . I will be on losec for the rest of life for the stomach acid because my doctor does not do the wraps. But if all i need is a pill and everything else goes ok I will be a happy camper .Penny(Moving REALLY SLOW but still smiling ) > > > > Hello just wanted to let you know i made it through surgery ok. > Very > > sore but i am home .They made me drink milk this morning which of > > course i was affraid to do but i did it and was amazed that it > > actually went down ok. Guest guest
Hi Biljana! Have you thought of expressing breast milk and freezing it in advance ? After the surgery you can also express and send the milk home. Talk to your local midwifery nurse. Good luck Joan Re: Im Back It's great to hear that you are doing well. Guest guest
Glad you are healing. I too just had surgery Monday. Those leg massagers drove me crazy! I will spare you the other annoyances. Besides a sore stomache I had aching shoulders. Another achalasian told me it was on account of my diaphragm being stitched and gas accumulated. Thought it was the bed or someone ram me when I was under anesthesia. My right eye was swollen so you can see how I drew that conclusion. I too am doing well. Take baby steps. I know both of us will do just fine. Re: Im Back BiljanaI had my surgery Fri morning at 10 am . I woke to havening those inflating leg massagers on which i did not like at all. It sounds like things are going fine right now, and that your are feeling pretty good. I am glad you were able to get out of the hospital when you liked, I am sure that will only help your recovery. Guest guest
Tina welcome to homeownership. It seems like it is always something. I have had my house for 14 yrs. I have had to replace a roof, a well, and piping to the well. That is just the big ticket stuff. Mind you my house was NEW. LOL NH... Guest guest
That's exciting about you and your guy friend being an "item" now and that he supports your efforts. My b/f and I are the same way - we have been "friends" for almost 7 years and "an item" for 2 of them.... can't make it anything more serious right now, so it works. Remember that as you heal and go through PT the exercise will make you feel better... just try a little bit each day and it will get easier.
