We have already seen a pediatric opthamologist and he wants a repeat check in two weeks. He seemed very casual about the dx and then when I looked in up on the internet I am scared to find all the surgery information etc. about the disease. No one in either of our families has ever heard of this. Can anyone expand on the surgery side of this? Is it plastic surgery, or does an opthamologist do it? Also, if anyone knows of any Dr.s in Atlanta that handle this condition so we can get a second opinion that would be so helpful.
