Guest guest
HI, Kim! I am sorry you are going through all this nonsence....I used to have to deal with these pharmacies for many of the patients when I worked at offices. I would DEMAND that the patient get the meds that they needed on a timely basis...no excuses excepted!! They would actually lie right to me...with the same BS excuses about the DR not filling in the RX correctly...when I would have the copy in front of me...BUSTED!!! What they didn't realize was they were not only dealing with the Dr's nurse..but also a pain patient who TRULY understand their frustration and was NOT going to give up until it was done correctly and on time for the patient. I know most offices don't do this for their patients, but the DR I had the priviledge to work for was the most kind, caring, professional man I have ever known. His policy was patient care first...no excuses...or get out. I loved working for him. I thought I would retire from his office, as the hospital scene was just too much for me with chronic pain...but when my left leg got so bad....there went that career right down the drain.... Does that office have an office manager? Alot of time now, the DR/s spouse is working in the office....is this true with this office.....if you could explain it to her..I would certainly hope that it would be corrected. Can your Dr re-write the meds just for a month supply and take it to your neightborhood RX...tell the mail in RX to D/C that order, and do another one altogether...for another three months? I know this is a royal pain in the butt, but it is one solution to your problem. Hang in, . So sorry you have to deal with this crap on top of the pain you are having already. Take care, hon.
