Guest guest
My husband gets his scs in May. Actually we both are waiting for the reps to call. I am sure glad I passed the phsych test, The psychologist knew I was really anxious from taking care of my going senile mother-in-law. My surgeon was a (Insert any dirty words you want). He said my falling down and staggering was in my head. I have to get a foot brace since I lost my reflex and my leg is so weak. I have never had to diet in all my 49 years. Since My back surgery I packed on 20 pounds. My husband got me a nice recumbent bike and a treadmill which I use. I am scared of the disk that popped out and not being able to have an MRI or having one and being really really scared. My surgeon (insert any dirty word you would like, Believe me I can't say his name without saying a dirty word before his name,)is a good surgeon but I hated the whole visit. I finally stared him down and he said there were a few things he could do. That is why they are putting what, my PM doc said are paddles, they will go up higher when I get my scs in case they have to operate later. I am not going for any procedures and ruin my camping season. Has anyone here had surgery after getting the SCS permanently? I wuold let that & *#*#^ surgeon do surgery. He is reallly good, no bedside manners. I am going to see that surgeon to see What those few procedures could be. There is progress in this household and soon my hubby can tell me how he likes the SCS. I walked around the block, a real feat. my dog is fat from not walking. I am on the move. Our couple hundred inches of snow are gone! Spring is here and thanks to this group I can't wait to get the scs. Time to get the camper ready!
