Guest guest
Hey everyone I had noticed how quiet it had been here too. I was hoping that meant that everyone was doing better! As for me, I think I told you guys about my upper back pain and the PM blowing me off at my last visit. Well it kept up and I had some other questions about my stim so I called my rep and asked him about all of this stuff. He told me what I thought from the beginning that the stim is more than likely NOT going to address the issues in my mid to upper back. The PM should have known this. He just said oh we need to reprogram bla bla and the rep said he would try this with me at my next visit. But I figured that this was the case and wanted to confrim that with the rep. We had discussed this previous to the implant, the rep, the surgeon and myself about what the stim would cover and what it would not. Of course the PM was not privvy to that conversation so he did not know that I already had been told this. It just irritates me that they act like they put in a device and that is supposed to be the magic bullet and then you go off to your merry little world and they never hear from you again NOT. Uggg. I really wonder if I need to approach PM or my doc about an eval from a spinal surgeon who specializes in scoliosis. I wanted this PM since he is a SPINE surgeon as well. I thought that since he was he could do the work if need be in the future. Now I find out that he does not do surgery and does not do hospitals! oh me. So I am trying to decide if I want to open that can of worms and working on getting the insurance to pay all my hospital bills. What fun! Oh BTW on the Medco medicine fiasco from last week? When I open my mail Monday guess what was in the box? My meds! My doc had NOT spoken to them at all acc to them late Friday evening and would not have gotten in touch with them til Monday so I had to spend another $40 to get an emergency supply of Topamax. Then here they are in my mail on Monday??? Someone there goofed and when I called they figured it out! I am about aggravated. However there is NO one you can contact at the ins company to be a liason for the patient in situations like these and I think thats a shame So I am trying to keep out of the cold to keep my pain levels down and jut try to manage day to day! Hope all others are doing ok Kim Kim Freelance Copywriter and Blogger Articles on Suite 101 http://ghosts-hauntings.suite101.com/article.cfm/the_haunting_of_carnton_mansion http://psychic-abilities.suite101.com/article.cfm/live_online_psychic_readings_g\ uide My Blogs http://dealwithchronicpain.org http://naturalcuresreview.org http://msfrugalmcdougal.org My Ehow Articles http://www.ehow.com/members/starchild47.html
