Guest guest
Debbie, I see you are at it again touting your bogus cancer nostrum. This whole tale is full of holes. Your sister-in-law has cervical cancer which is easy to treat. You did not say which markers were tested and when they were tested in relation to the surgery. Everyone's tumor markers drop after surgery. 90% are tumor bound and the source of serum markers. It takes weeks after the surgery for marker values to drop in the blood. You did not say that you make your living by pushing this overpriced powdered milk. You did not say that if anything Immunocal encourages the cancer to grow. Your sister-in-law's situation is typical of most similar cancer patients six months after surgery. She may well have millions of cancer cells dispersed throughout her body. With a doubling time of 2-3 months it usually takes several years before the other boot falls. I'm pleased that your sister-in-law feels better after demassing, but don't fool the list or yourself into thinking that this is due to your powdered milk. True Story!!! > Hello to you all. Guest guest
Dear folks I have to tell you I have been called a liar, trailer park trash, someone who rips off little old ladies for their old age pensions, gosh in the last two years that I have been on this site, has accused me of the worst and of being the worse. Well in rebuttal I would like to say this. It is your life folks and you have to decide what is best for you. My sister-in-law's recovery from her cancer is a true story. But how do you know if I tell the truth or does. I would like to challenge all you folks that may be confused because writes well to phone the company and ask questions. Let me tell you why I challenge you to do so. A couple of weeks before Christmas I needed to phone Molson and ask him a question. He is the assistant of research to Dr. Bounous. He asked me if was still giving me a bad time on this site. Yes I have sent and shared the things that said in the past. None were flattering. I told I wasn't going to fight with the site anymore, he told me he was sorry but he had tried on numerous occasions to contact by phone as well as sent him numerous emails. would not respond to any of this. So folks do yourselves a favor phone Molson and find out the truth, not as I see it and certainly not as sees it, but check out the company that is doing the research. And if you like ask if it is true about not being willing to speak to him. Its your lives and I hate to see you loose out because someone has an agenda. And as to worrying about who you buy it from , buy it from the company, they will give it to you for the same price I buy it for. The number is 1-450-424-9992 ext 234. Please take the challenge and discover the truth for yourselves. God Bless Debbie True Story!!! > > > > Hello to you all. Guest guest
Debbie, I have not called you a liar; I have said that you misrepresent the truth. I have not called you trailer trash: I don't think that you are. As to saying that you rip off the elderly, I do believe that. If you believe that you are helping them, then perhaps this self-deception can attenuate your karma; I don't know. I do think that you are guilty of many, many small and not-so-small deceptions on this list. I do think that you and your sister-in-law are fooling yourselves in thinking that a routine recovery from surgery is somehow a remission. As to Molson, he has never tried to contact me by phone. I would be glad to speak with him if he does. He once e-mailed his phone number, but my phone bill is already about $400 per month. He has my phone number should he choose to call. I always answer the phone myself between 7AM and 8AM California time. If he calls me I will take it easy on him as I know that he does not know science. If he has Bonous call me then that will be a different story. I'll give my speech on ethics in science. I did receive a short e-mail from Molson in which he called me a " tortured sole " [sic] Perhaps he thinks that I have flat feet. Perhaps he thinks I am a flatfish. He sent me a first draft of an article that Bonous was writing. The implied purpose was that it might convince me of something. I read it very carefully. There was nothing useful there. I was not asked to critique it or edit it. I probably would have if asked. Furthermore, I am very willing to have an open debate on this list so all the Immunocal marketing scientists can grumble about everything I say. Debbie, I will reiterate what I have been saying all along. Glutathione is very useful for detoxifying certain chemical assaults on the body, but it is the wrong tool to fight cancer. Guest guest
Angie, Most conventional cancer treatments don't work. Most popular alternative cancer treatments don't work. The use of " undenatured " milk whey to treat cancer is not very sensible. If one were exposed to massive amounts of pesticides or other environmental toxins, I suppose you could make a case for glutathione precursors -- but not as a cancer treatment. Cancer cells use glutathione to protect themselves from chemo. Now the milk whey mongers would have you believe that eating glutathione precursors will cause cancer-cell glutathione to drop. If you want to get rid of fat do you eat fat? Fat merchants might try to tell this to you. Glutathione is no different. The bottom line: those peoples who historically have had rock bottom cancer rates -- Ugandans, Ghanians, Nigerians all suffered from methionine and protein deficiencies. Their poor malnourished bodies were virtually incapable of getting cancer. They would get malaria, and TB, and every parasite you can think of, but no cancer. Now with the advent of petrodollars which paid for the western diet and medicines, these Africans now enjoy the same high rates of cancer and heart disease that we westerners think of as normal. Guest guest
, I would be interested in more feedback on your statement " Most popular alternative cancer treatments don't work. " . Can you expand on this statement and advise what treatments you feel don't work and those that you feel do. " . > > Can you expand on this statement and advise what treatments you feel don't > work and those that you feel do. > > Melinda Wiman Melinda, This is a question that you can answer yourself. You have been on the list for a long time. How many people do you see cured by the various oxygen therapies? by the antioxidant therapies? by glutathione or its precursors? by flower essences? by scores of others? Most cancer patients who are going the alternative route throw every kind of hodge-podge together without any real thought into what they are doing. I rarely argue with people about these matters as alternative cancer treatments have become a religion. Remember what happened when I stated that thioproline was no panacea? I was personally threatened. The gullable will march blithely to their graves defending to the end their impoverished choices. Many of these treatments will work if done correctly in a way that is a good fit for the patient. But ask yourself: How many physicians who use H2O2 infusions stop to think about suppressing catalase or the interaction with nitric oxide? How many physicians using O3 stop to think about the interaction of the transition metals and the alkaline earths, or even the suppression of SOD? What about the cancer vaccines that always seem to stop working after a while? What does the physician think? Does he think that it might be time to switch the immunocarrier? Du-uh. No, thinking might hurt that wooden thing that wobbles on his neck. And what do all these alternative healers do when their patients die? Very simple: they blame the patient. Obviously the patient didn't follow the protocol exactly. Melinda, there are just as many clowns in alternative medicine as there are in conventional. When a patient can't afford to hire someone who knows what they are doing, what should they do? They should stick with the simple things with a track record -- things that aren't heavily advertised and don't make anyone much money. But, one can't neglect common sense. For example, a macrobiotic diet can be curative, but if one had already been a vegan the last five years would macrobiotic be the ticket? Those on a limited budget should consider talking with Lum or Cliff -- both fine fellows.
Guest guest
, Actually, because so many people on this forum and other places are trying to figure out a course of action to take, I am still hoping you could add feedback into what you feel " does " help. If cancer and many ailments are caused by a breakdown of the immune system, than " building the immune system " would be a route one should take. However, the question that would still remain is - what would be the best products to pull this off - colostrum, shark liver oil, etc. If, however, one believes that cancer is not caused by a breakdown of the immune system, then of course, one's action plan would be different. Having worked with G. , author of " World Without Cancer, the story of B17, I of course, am prejudiced. But I also know there are well over 100 therapies out there to be considered. Many of these are immune-system boosters. But which to use... it seems that over and over on this forum and others, people write about what they are doing or taking - often saying things like: I take essiac, mushroom extracts, VC, shark cartilage, etc. - ie. a wide variety of products. I've yet to figure out how people make a choice. Hence my question to you: How about I reword my question - If " you " personally found out you had cancer that was spreading throughout your body, what would you personally do or what doctor/clinic would you consider seeing? Or, put another way - as PC World puts it in their reviews of products, what would the " editors " (being you) choice be?
